• PROTEST, by Vàclav Havel

The ALLIANCE FOR NEW MUSIC-THEATRE will perform PROTEST, by Vàclav Havel, in a private audience at the Czech Ambassador's Residence, on September 26th, in public performance at the Robert Wilson House, on Sept. 28th., and in public performance at the Czech Cultural Center, in NYC, as part of the Havel Festival, on September 29th. After that, we  hope to move it into a regular run in DC (we're talking with the venue), before taking it to the Prague Fringe Festival, in 2017. In there somewhere, we'll introduce PROTEST as one piece in a touring rep of Havel pieces. PROTEST is a two character piece. I'm playing Stanek.

The ALLIANCE FOR NEW MUSIC-THEATRE's also at work on interesting, large scale, non-traditional music theater works (PROTEST isn't musical), for which we'll begin fundraising within the next several months.

  • TV Reel

Last year’s tv footage. Not much, but it’s a start. In a few months, I’ll also have footage from THE SULTAN AND THE SAINT, on PBS. I did a lot of indie last year, too, but that footage is less well produced or hasn’t been through final edit, yet.

  • Quick Update

I apologize for not updating in awhile! I need to refresh my website to make it easier to read and navigate but am waiting for reel footage to come in before getting down to work on it (among the changes: I’m jettisoning the third person conceit and writing updates in the first person, from now on.) But, no changes on my website, doesn’t mean nothing’s been happening. A quick list:

    - I performed the supporting role of a murderous advisor to the emperor in PBS’s THE SULTAN AND THE SAINT.

    - I performed the supporting role of “Mr. Clean” in THE KING OF BLOODY FOOK’N BRITAIN, a gangster comedy in the mode of Guy Richie or Quentin Tarantino, that’s well into post production.

    - I performed the supporting role of “Officer Peters,” in a short film called “CITIZEN JONES,” that will shortly head out to the festival circuit.

    - I performed the supporting role of “Captain Miller,” on episode #508 of SCORNED: LOVE KILLS, on Investigation Discovery, and I’m proud to say that I got to do an actual ‘scene,’ which my scene partner and I did a great job on! I can’t wait to see it.

    - I’m still working with The Alliance for New Music-Theatre, which is turning attention soon to a variety of staged readings and money raising efforts for a number of theater projects.

So, my silence has not meant I’ve not been busy! I’ll post more details about all these projects, and more, when I finally revamp the website. Thank you for checking in.
